Thanks for your help. I couldn't find the gramplet until I upgraded to 3.4.2 and then read that the add-ons are found in the Edit/Preferences menu. I was then able to download the Census Gramplet and it is working fine now.

If you have the Census Gramplet listed in the plugin manager, then you probably don't need to manually install it.

Assuming you have the Census Gramplet installed, next you have to configure the Census Gramplet by creating census data sources with a valid data key - see http://www.gramps-project.org/wiki/index.php?title=Census_Addons

Then you need to display the Census Gramplet, eg in the sidebar. Right click the tab and "Add Gramplet".

Select the relevant person, and in the Census Gramplet chose "New".

Hi,
I'm using Gramps 3.4.0 and can't find the Census Gramplet. It is listed in the Plugin manager gramplet but the Download link takes me to a Sourceforge page saying "An exception has occurred. Unknown location: etc. etc. ...."

Any advice gratefully received.

Thanks,

Peter
