Seems to work,

Thank you John :)

I only received the following error from make.py which I worked out for my self.

pat@pat-xubuntu1210VirtualBox:~/svn/gramps-addons-trunk/contrib$ GRAMPSPATH=/home/pat/svn/gramps-trunk/ python make.py init HtreePedigreeView

For this error I checked the path described and can see a file called:
gramps-trunk/gramps/gen/const.py.in

As a beginner does the .py.in mean that I have to have built gramps-trunk before running the make.py file? And a few minutes later after building gramps-trunk I can see the newly created const.py (without the ".in") will update wiki page with this expectation/assumption.

For future beginners maybe a little help/pointer from make.py that you need to build the gramps(version) first?

Ah, that should be glocale.get_addon_translator(gpr,

Thanks, I'll take a look from here.

I didn't see any action, so I committed that change on trunk today. Works fine in Py2 (I think I hadn't set up my environment correctly yesterday morning), but chokes on Py3: execfile is no longer available. I don't think I'll have time to test that change out until Saturday.
