The pre-made maps for NZ seem to generate glitchy routes…
For example, try to ask it for a route from Suncrest Drive (in West Harbour / Hobsonville) to Don Buck Rd (Massey). You'll see what I mean. This happens at any Route Speed setting (apart from ones towards the upper end that don't even use Hobsonville Rd, the route it gives for that seems to avoid problems - however, asking for a route that does use Hobsonville Rd at this setting - for example, Vadam Rd in Massey to Suncrest Drive - will give the same glitch). Basically, the section of Hobsonville Rd between Suncrest Drv and Marina View Drv seems to more or less not exist to the navigation system. This happens at other parts of that road and other major roads in the area as well. Any idea if this is a glitch or just bad settings?
I'm using the pre-made NZ midlet dated March 2012, if that matters.

Have you set the route quality to be the best setting? Go to Settings / Routing and set Allow bad routes/calc speed (or whatever the English phrase is) to 0.
@ninjamida: Tried this on MicroeEmulator and experienced after route calculation a message "Route 3588m (26/32)" and the light blue route line interrupted at several road sections. Is it this you are talking about?
@ninjamida: I suspect the map data eing wrong. Please download Osm2GpsMid latest from http://gpsmid.sourceforge.net/nightlies/ and new-zealand.osm.pbf from http://download.geofabrik.de/osm/australia-oceania/.
Now start Osm2GpsMid-latest.jar on your PC and select the downloaded .pbf file as your Openstreetmap data source. Then click create midlet to build your own GpsMid which will also include some other improvements.
