I've tested the style-file entry <borderColor color="00000000"/> on some areas but I dont see a border colors at all cases. I've tested GPSMID with Microemulator on a PC and with a Nokia E52 (Symbian OS). What did I wrong?
Here is an example excerpt of my style file for allotment areas:
<Wvalue name = "allotments">
<description desc = "allotments"/>
<namekey tag = "name"/>
<isArea area = "true"/>
<lineColor color = "0000aa00"/> <!-- green -->
<borderColor color="00000000"/> <!-- black border for allotments -->
<wayWidth width="1"/> <!-- thin border color for allotments -->
<force_to layer = "-1"/>
Are you sure borderColor works for areas in some cases?
I think, since areas are triangulated we do not have the information of the outlines of the areas anymore
(just the coordinates of all the triangles an area gets drawn by)
Therefore, IMHO without adding much more data to GpsMid we cannot draw borders around areas.
