Yes, it's normal for the default name of the PDB to be the name you provided for the file. Since GPSBabel runs on all kinds of different operating systems with different standard directory separators, it was impractical to try to strip off the leading directories. You should look at the dbname option, which lets you specify any name you like for the PDB file: gpsbabel.exe -i gpx -f GSAK.gpx -o gpilots,dbname=Alberta3 -F C:\datafiles\GPS\GPilotS\Alberta3.pdb (This applies to the other Palm formats, too, except for Nav Companion.) -- Ron Parker |
