Those are intentionally undocumented as the format can change over time and they're really useful only to GUI writers that need to be comfortable with the code anyway. Beign open source, they're not really secrets; we just set the bar a little higher for them and suppress them from usage so we have fewer reasons to frighten new users by staring at options that they're likely to never need. (Says the guy responsible for 'gpsbabel -h' coughing up 832 lines of text...)
