Hi - I wonder if anyone can suggest something here. I did a ride a while back from London to paris. I then lost my tracklog gpx files. However, I was being tracked by a seperate system, which meant I had a kml file for most of the trip. The KML file has all the info needed to recreate the tracklog to a reasonable approximation (location, time, date), but I can't find a way of doing it. I don't think I can do it with gpsbabel as it can't cope ith teh fact that the date/time is in a description field in the KML. Any ideas welcome :-) A short extract from the file, showing basic syntax, is here: <Placemark>

Date: 05 Aug 2007
Time: 17:03:36
Speed: 0 mph
<Point> <coordinates>2.293655,48.859255,0</coordinates> </Point> </Placemark> And the file itself can be found here: http://bbarker.co.uk/log.kml Perhaps there is a way to define a custom filter for a format? Cheers, Ben |
