I have a CS-1. The log file starts with an identification line which
GPSBabel ignores. Perhaps the CS-3 log file has a header line that is
causing problems. You can open the log file with a simple text editor,
delete the first line in the log file, and save the file. Select the
edited log file in GPSBabel and then set the "Input File Type" to
"NMEA 0183 sentences". This is because the ".log" extension
automatically sets the file type to a default that will not work.
You can also save the edited log file with a ".txt" extension. That
