I'm trying to put a waypointfile (TomTom format) with 60 waypoints on my
Garmin GPS60 using the direct garmin download function of Gpsbabel.
Of the 60 waypoints only 9 get downloaded to the GPS. I've cleared the
waypoint memory of the GPS so there is certainly enough memory to hold
all 60 waypoints.
The Tomtom reader seems to be in perfect working order. Converting the
same file to GPX gives me a GPX file with all the waypoints.
Writing the GPX file to the Garmin once again results in only 9
waypoints on the GPS.
Who can help me with this problem? I can send all files en logs

No promises - I'm quite busy today - but mail me the file and I'll
have a look at it :)

Are you sure that you don't just have the garmin set to search by
"nearest"? In that mode, it'll display only the ones within the least of
least of the X(50?) closest or Y (25?) miles.
Zoom out on the map. Are they there?
Read them back from the GPS. Are they there?
Set for 'alpha' and the GPS doesn't do that limting.
