Hi all, I am creating a web portal (gpstrax.net) to share gps data for =
I would like to standardise on the .gpx format and recommend gpsbable =
for the file conversion tool.
I have started to test gpsbable and I have come across and issue where I =
cannot successfully convert a .gpx to a file format that MapSource 6 can =
I think this is quite important as the gps units used for outdoor =
leisure activates tend to be Garmin in Europe, and you get MapSource 6 =
free with the unit.
Has anyone come across this and can offer me any advise.
Many thanks in advance,

Standardizing on GPX is probably wise. (Oh, and we're "GPSBabel", please.)

Current Mapsource can read GPX files directly.
We can write GPX, MPS, and GDB, all of which can be read by Mapsource. If
you have a specific case that's failing, please provide a test file, the
precise command issued, and the version numbers of everything involved.
We have LOTS of successful Mapsource users here.
