You're right. This file isn't any of the Destinator formats we support. I
don't know if that GPS maker has modified Destinator in some way or if this
is a different "Destinator". It's definitely not those described at
It appears to be a file of repeating 15 byte records. Nothing in those 15
bytes stands out to me as an obvious lat/long that's likely to be in Brazil.
Adding this format would require someone to figure out this format (or to
get it from the maker or some other source) and then implement it in
GPSBabel. It looks like the last three byte of the 15 are a constant "BR"
(Brazil?") and a zero. YOu could help decode the format. Just truncate
the file to 15 bytes, load it into your software, and tell us everything the
software knows about that one record.
