Hi Jean Claude,
I got a device called "Polaris TravelHoney" yesterday which is based on
Venus 6 GPS receiver. I found a site which has some more recent documents
regarding the binary data format of the data logging capabilities of the
Venus 6 chips. See here: http://www.sparkfun.com/datasheets/GPS/Modules/http://www.sparkfun.com/datasheets/GPS/Modules/
AN0008_v1.4.11-datalogging.pdf is pretty recent (Jan'09). I started today
my own project before in Java I discovered there is already some development
- no idea why I did not stumble across it earlier. Now - the ultimate
question - does it make sense to offer help in finishing the begun
development? I used to do some C-programming, but since a couple of years I
moved over to Java and further on to PHP & friends; But not all memories are
lost, so if you appreciate help, let me know.
