My copy doesn't do that, but we admittedly blow out that UI component.

For a more satisfying experience, go into Preferences (command + , - just like all Mac apps) and turn off all the formats except the ones you actually care about.  There's no reason to scoot and scrunch to figure out how to fit 200-ish options on the screen.
