Hello!
	The patch and libs are all in place. I took a look at canon.c and the answer is that EOS 300D is not the same class as EOS 350D or 20D it is class 4 (not 6), so no wonder the patch did not work.
	I may risk assigning it to class 6 to see if that helps, but I'll try to see if they are similar enough not to cause damage first... ;-)
