I recently bought a mirrorless Canon EOS (M) and would really love to use gphoto2/libgphoto2 to control it (change capture settings, view images on sd card, download and erase images). Could anyone suggest the likelihood that gphoto2 will be extended to support it? Or do you think it's better to try using the Canon SDK rather than waiting for gphoto2 support?

Any advice appreciated!

Thanks,
Simon

  • We currently are not aware of:

    • if it is possible at all
    • how it is possible at all

Is there windows or other software doing remote control of the EOS M?
