Are there any plans to convert the source code for gentle.net to .net 2.0 and visual studio 2005?
Not for the current source branch, but VS 2005 can successfully convert the 1.x sources to a solution that compiles cleanly with it.
That said, Gentle 2.0 is more or less a complete rewrite and targets VS 2005 and .NET 2.0 only. You can browse the current sources online (using www.mertner.com/fisheye or the Subversion url directly), and there are some Gentle 2.0 docs (roadmap, open tasks, etc.) in the wiki (at www.mertner.com/confluence). I've given up on promising a release date, but will post announcements and status reports on the mailing list.
Hello Mr. Mertner,
do you have any experiences with Gentle.NET 1.2.9 compiled with .NET 2.0 on a 64-bit system?
Do you provide automatic tests to test a version compiled by myself with .NET2.0?
