#538 File command doesn't work with STDIN

The file command on Windows 7 64-bit works correctly to determine the type of a file on the filesystem.

But when trying to detect the type of a file sent on STDIN, there is an error:
file -m magic -
/dev/stdin; ERROR: cannot read `(null)' (Not enough space)
