Hi, I'm not too sure what you wanted. As I understand it autoscale is set on for all axis as default. So setting autscale ymax wouldn't do much. Type show autoscale to see whats going to and what is set. But if you just want autoscale on the ymax then you can type: unset autoscale set autoscale ymax Or if you want the ymax value to be tight to the maximum value of your data then you can try: set autoscale yfixmax or if you want your yaxis to go from 0 to whatever, then try set yrange[0:*] Not entirely sure I understood your problem, but I hope this helps.
