Petr, you are talking about mirroring.  Have you ever noticed, that the 
binaries of 4.1 are different on 
http://gnuplot.info/development/binaries/ and 
http://gnuplot.sourceforge.net/development/binaries/?

Sometime ago it took me several time to find the newest binaries (again) 
until I saw that there was a difference between the two locations...
