I would suggest to compile gnuplot in the form of Windows dll, so that plots can be made from within many Windows applications that support API calls, Excel for instance. I would like also to make plots of experimental data collected using Liberty Basis that support API calls. Since the data are stored in computer memory only, gnuplot presently cannot handle them. Very pity really. Gnuplot in the form of Windows dll should solve this problem.

As much as I am an advocate for using gnuplot, I think if what you need is a shared library of graphing routines gnuplot is never going to fill that need and you should look for some other tool. This is so far away from the way the code was designed and written that it is basically not possible to get there from here.

Nevertheless, I don't follow your logic that you can't pass data from memory to gnuplot for plotting. Perhaps if you post a question on the newsgroup or here in the support section explaining more precisely what you want to do, someone will have a good answer.
