It is sometimes very useful to have arrows pointing on
several locations when plotting something in 3d, and
putting a mesh on it with pm3d. But the rendering
somehow puts the arrows _below_ the layer of the pm3d
surface, even if it were geometrially above. Rotating
the 3d image it is shown clearly. I uploaded 3
screenshots showing this. Used versions: 4.0.1, and the
development snapshot from 280406

    This is just one aspect of pm3d plot's general lack of an
    actual hidden surface determination. gnuplot has no way of
    making sure that the arrow is only drawn when it should be
    in front of the surface.

    But since it doesn't promise it would do this in the
    documentation, not doing it is not a bug. Moving this to
    feature requests.

    Note: "Hiding" as in true 3D is (will/would be) solved by
    the patch "1077726 true depth ordering for pm3d plots".
