#777 cb axis range undefined or overflow

i have created a minimal example for this error (see attached file). it fits a linear function and plots it, but gnuplot exits with:

"minimal-example.gnuplot", line 9: cb axis range undefined or overflow.

This fails with version 4.2.5, 4.2.4 worked perfectly.

    This is working in the CVS version and in the pre-release 4.4 source.
    I will see if a fix can be queued for 4.2.6.

    I have back-ported the fix in CVS to a patchset against the 4.2.5 source code.
    You can apply it to your current source, or wait for it to appear in 4.2.6.
