GNUPLOT compiled from CVS in local dir:
Version 4.7 patchlevel 0 last modified 2013-02-18
Build System: Linux x86_64

In system is also installed v4.6.1

OS:
linux 3.5.0-23-generic 64bit
KDE 4.10

When I execute attached script by entering "./gnuplot komandos.txt" in console then blank window is opened and in console is printed:

Terminal type set to 'wxt'
glibc detected /home/senbuvis/usr/bin/gnuplot: corrupted double-linked list: 0x0000000003863b60 ***

Also GnuPlot hangs.

I tried this script with GnuPlot v4.6.0, v4.6.1 and mentioned CVS version - it always hangs.

I fount that if I delete unicode letter "ž" in command "title" (in attached script) then script runs fine, but if that unicode letter is placed in "title" (unnecessarily in same place) then script hangs.

To demonstrate this bug I attached 5 files (script and data):
komandos.txt
oct-dBULC9
oct-KBceMb
oct-X0DGVd
oct-y1b94f

I don't get that error, but I do find a memory overrun when I run your test script in valgrind. Here is a small patch that fixes the overrun. Please let me know whether it also fixes the error you see.

  • Patch helps, error is gone. Thanks!
