When exporting a plot in the qt terminal to a pdf file, the output file is always black&white and not in colour.

Affected version:
CVS export from 30th Oct 2012 (Version 4.7 patchlevel 0 last modified 2012-10-30)
Compiled and run on Linux (openSuse Linux 11.4, x86_64)

Way to reproduce:
- start gnuplot with qt terminal compiled in
- set terminal qt
- plot x*x
- click "export to pdf"
- open exported pdf file

expected result:
- output should have the same colours as qt terminal l plot. (like export to png)

actual result:
- output plot is black and white.

I can't reproduce this report on 32- or 64- bit linux (but I don't have openSuse).
Can I get some more information, in particular the qt library version?
Does the output not include colors even if the colors are specified explicitly?
E.g. plot x*x lc rgb "blue"

The installed Qt version on the OpenSuse box is 4.7.1.
Other libraries which might be relevant: libcairo2-1.10.2-6.11.1.x86_64, libpango-1_0-0-1.28.3-3.6.1.x86_64
(Regular pdf export with pdfcairo-terminal works flawlessly)

The bug occurs also when declaring the line colour specifically.

However, I also cannot reproduce it when compiling and running gnuplot from CVS on an Fedora 17 box (with qt-4.8.3).
