Currently gdl is maintained at a CVS repository, and to use CVS is really painful: slow network connection, unfriendly interface, etc. Could you guys move to git or mercurial or such distributed vcs? Or even svn would be much better.
Thanks.

    Hum, I have two scripts in command line, one for creating a NEW CVS copy

    CVS_PATH=/cvsroot/gnudatalanguage
    CVS_SITE=anonymous@gnudatalanguage.cvs.sourceforge.net
    cvs -d:pserver:$CVS_SITE:$CVS_PATH login
    cvs -z3 -d:pserver:$CVS_SITE:$CVS_PATH checkout gdl

    and one to update it

    CVS_PATH=/cvsroot/gnudatalanguage
    CVS_SITE=anonymous@gnudatalanguage.cvs.sourceforge.net
    cvs -d:pserver:$CVS_SITE:$CVS_PATH login
    cvs -z3 -d:pserver:$CVS_SITE:$CVS_PATH update

    I just need to do "sh ./gdl_CVS_init.sh" or "sh ./gdl_CVS_update.sh", I found it is really simple and ultra fast.
