Thanks for incorporating my suggestion for message
filtering in 'gnubiff'!

I tried to compile it on my Ubuntu system, but ran out
of time installing 'configure's many dependencies.
Maybe I can "compile from source" later ...

Two questions:

o Might a new binary (.deb, .rpm) be made available?
(I'm currently running 2.1.8-1ubuntu1)

o Where is this new feature documented?

Thanks angain for including filtering ... maybe I can
get rid of 'tkbiff' RSN!

    Hi,

sorry for replying so late: The message was not forwarded by
    sourceforge.

    1. I only release the source code. The packages are created
by the distributors. If there is no recent package available
you can try the one created for debian (packages.debian.org)

    2. If you search for "filter" in the expert tab of the
configuration dialog you get the list of all filter options.
If you select one you get a description in the lower part of
    the screen.
BTW: I just noticed that the option "filter_global_last" is
not available because of a typo. I just fixed it in CVS and
it will be available once gnubiff 2.2.4 is released.

I moved this request to support requests as it is not a
    feature request.

    CU Robert :-)

Gnubiff 2.2.4 is released so filtering should finally working without problems. I close this request.
