I'm using gnubiff 2.1.8 on Ubuntu Dapper (so gnome
2.14.2) and I have a gnubiff icon in the notification
tray (not the floaty applet thing).
When there are no messages on initial load gnubiff
shows no new messages. When a new message is detected,
gnubiff shows new messages. When I've read the message
gnubiff never detects that the message has been read,
or simply chooses to ignore the fact. I must click the
"mark mailboxes read" context menu item to force
gnubiff to not show new messages.
I hope this isn't by design and is a bug. Gnubiff
should not show new messages when there aren't any.
