This weekend I have developed a new feature for gnoMint that was suggested
last August by William King:
Support for CRL distribution URL. It is already in Subversion repository.
Basically, gnoMint now allows assigning a URL where the CRL will be
distributed. This can be done in the moment of CA creation (in this case,
the URL will be included in CA root certificate), or afterwards, as a CA
For simplicity, only an unique URL is supported as CRL distribution point.
If you import CAs generated in other programs, and they include more CRL
distribution points, or other kind of CRL distribution points, gnoMint will
use that information as long as you don't establish a new CRL distribution
URL using gnoMint.
Unfortunately, in the last times I don't have enough time for make all the
extensive tests I'd like to.
So I am calling for beta-testers of this new feature.
Please, download subversion trunk, and test it.
If you find any problem, please report it so I can correct it.
Or better: send a patch!
Thank you for your support.
