Shouldn't it be native in Gnoga?
Not really, double buffering is a common technique for animation, but not
per se something that is always required. Gnoga's goal is to offer the
underlying functionality, we could perhaps add a higher level "animated
canvas" as a component that provided the double buffering in the future.
