Can't get step 3 to work (Test 3 curl http)

    Hey guys,

    I'm trying to install the latest version of g-Mobile on my server and get the following result when i run diagnose.php:

    Test 1 (safe mode): passed.
    Test 2 (curl extension): passed.

    Test 3 (curl http): FAILED. Failed to connect to the dedicated host: www.google.com. Result:

    Test 5 (PHP session extension): passed.
    Test 6 (trans_sid): No longer necessary (starting with gmail-mobile version 1.1)

    Test 9 (short tags): passed.

    When i look in my php.ini curl is enabled:

    cURL support     enabled
    cURL Information     libcurl/7.16.0 OpenSSL/0.9.8i zlib/1.2.3

    I looked everywhere for a solution but i seem t obe the only one with this problem.
