Subject: glew on Macs ??? any help
To: ikits@sci.utah.edu

Hi,

Thanks for your work on glew.  I am using it with my graphics course at CSUN.  I have built it and used it successfully on Windows and Linux systems.  I am frustrated in using it with Xcode on MacOSX 10.8 or with g++ and makefiles.  I can't seem to find the glew library on these systems.  I have tried -L and -l options, I have put it in the directory with my *.cpp application source.

I have been looking on the web, the OpenGL redbook (8th edition) and Apple's developer site.  I have not found a good example or explaination of how to use Glew.

The Macs I am using working fine with glew in a windows boot, but not in an OSX boot.  I have the XQuartz extensions and glxinfo reports a shader version of 2.1 while in the windows boot I get 3.30

Can you provide any sites or tips that might help.  Any reply is greatly appreciated.
