Hello,

On the GLEW website, it talks about how to do a static link under Windows, which works fine. However, I'm having trouble performing a static link under Linux.

Both the .a and the .so versions of the library get built, but regardless of whether I have GLEW_STATIC defined, the static .a library appears to be ignored. If I delete the .so version, I get a ton of "undefined reference" errors.

How do I build the GLEW library such that the static version is all that is available, so that my program links static with it rather than looking for the shared version?

Thanks.
