I personally would suggest 24-bit bitmaps stored in a zip file, but that's probably because that's how I save mine on my own computer. =] Whatever it is, it should be LOSSLESS compression, and it should be using the highest number of colors available. You can go from 24-bit to 8-bit, but you can't do the reverse. Two quick questions: -can Gnome use 24-bit icons? -will there be a windoze version of Glame?
