This command works fine within linxu kernel git tree:

$ gitk v3.0.. -- drivers/media/dvb/dvb-usb/

this not :

$ gitk v3.0.. -- drivers/./media/dvb/dvb-usb/

in dev-vcs/git-1.7.3.4-r1

Discussion

  • Well, what I meant :

    a "$> gitk v3.1.." shows in the lower right pane the file name of the current selected patch paragraph, whereas a "$> gitk v3.1.. ." does't show the file name in the comment field.
