I am new to Gimp and have the following problem. The answer is, i am sure, completely obvious, but I don't know what it is.
I am running Gimp 2.8.4p2 Mountain Lion on Mac 10.8.4.
When I try to scale images using the scaling tool, the scaling tool selects a tiny area next to the image (often 1x1 pixel), and even though the image that I want to scale is highlighted, nothing I can do will persuade the scaling tool to scale that image. As I said, I'm sure the answer is obvious, but I cannot find any reference on-line. Can any of you help?
Thanks,
Nick
