Hi
I attach a tar ball with the following (small) patches:
Makefile.am.libgimpprintui.diff & Makefile.am.main.diff:
- add missing -f for rm in target dist-hook
[fixes failure of fresh 'make deb']
cups-genppdconfig.in.diff:
- fix missing "" in $version definition
- fix missing .$version suffix for cups-genppd
[fixes installation error for
cupsys-driver-gimpprint_5.0.0-alpha1-1_i386.deb]
control.in.diff:
- add the following build dependencies:
- chrpath (>= 0.12)
- devscripts (>= 2.7.95.1)
- docbook-utils (>= 0.6.13)
[makes live easier for Debian users; took me a while to
figure these ones out ;-)]
Maybe the latter is only relevant for CVS builds with
'make deb'. In which case it would be great if Readme.
building could explicitly mention mention them
(docbook-utils is there already)
On a related note, I noticed that build fails if the
db2* docbook tools are not available. It would be great
if either configure could barf out if it doesn't find
them or the documentation wouldn't be built.
Best regards
Andree

Hello,
Many thanks for the patches and suggestions. I've now
checked everything over and applied most of them. The only
exceptions are some of the Build-Depends, which are not
strictly build dependencies when building from the
distributed tarball, just from CVS. These are mentioned in
README.building, though.
This is all now available on the CVS mainline.
Regards,
Roger
