Trying to print a test page from CUPS, however, causes it to turn on show both error lights, then turn itself off. Testing a bit I seem to get it mad when I try printing anything in colour. (Either turning itself off or locking up with both error lights amber, has to be fixed by pulling the plug.) Additionally, escputil with -m escp2-cx4200 -s -r /dev/usb/lp0 produces no information. (No error, either; it just prints the banner, a blank line, then exits.) The printer also didn't seem to like this very much, since I had to turn it off and then on again to be able to print black and white TeX output again. So, it works, kind of. Thank you very much. |
