I use Gutenprint 5.2.9 to run an old Epson Stylus Color 3000. I currently use OS 10.5.8. I have hesitated upgrading OS for fear that I would lose compatibility with the Epson 3000. I spent much time getting the settings correct to solve for various problems including banding (The solutions can be seen in my posts in this section in 2010.).
I have looked through and searched the various forums here and haven't seen much about OS 10.8. Does anyone have actual experience with OSX 10.8, Gutenprint 5.2.9 and an Epson 3000? If so, are they compatible and did you have to change any of the settings?

Gutenprint 5.2.9 package should work perfectly well on 10.8.
