I upgraded gimp to the latest 5.2.8 and it prints, just very slowly, as if it's doing high quality or in quiet mode. As I'm new to this I have no idea how to tweak it?
I've uninstalled and gone back to 5.2.7 (originally 5.2.6) and this prints quickly again.
Any help appreciated.

The defaults are probably different. So you need to se up your defaults using whatever settings control program or CUPS interface you are using.
