    hi,

is there a way to copy text and then paste into a different app (ie. word, notepad, etc.)? Looks like it works within the app but can not paste to external apps?

    thanks,
    jd

Hi and sorry for the late reply. I take you are on windows? Some other people reported similar issues, and sometimes replacing the gtk dlls with never versions helped: you can try downloading [1] and copying the dlls in the bin folder to the bin folder inside your gimagereader installation directory, replacing the existing files.

    Hth,
    Sandro

    Hi Sandro,

    a)
in my installation there are no "gtk????.dll"s ...

    b)
Where are the newest versions and what are the
    files to be replaced ?

    thanks,

    Hi,

Apparently I forgot to post the link in the previous reply. It should be the following:
    http://ftp.gnome.org/pub/gnome/binaries/win32/gtk+/2.24/gtk+_2.24.10-1_win32.zip

As far as where the dlls are: just browse to the gimagereader installation directory and replace any matching dlls with those in the zip above.

    Best,
    Sandro

    Hi Sandro,

thank you very much for the additional informations.

    I replaced 3 files:

    • libgailutil-18.dll
    • libgdk-win32-2.0-0.dll
    • libgtk-win32-2.0-0.dll

    Results:
The content of the output window now can be marked, copied and inserted
directly into an external editor like 'notepad' ...

    :-))

    Best regards
