Thanks for the quick and useful responses. Now i am running into problems compiling the source code. There is no ./configure in the checked out sources. so i ran autoreconf --force --install for libgg.

I am using autconf v 2.67 on debian squeeze. Since libgii depends on libgg, i dont know if any other build related error exists on the system.

That was just an example getting a specific old version. Try this to
get the latest source:

cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous@ggi.cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/ggi checkout ggi-core
