Now, we need your help... We are just before release of GGC 0.5, and we would need some testers. You don't have to be "professionals" (professional testers in software development companies), you just need to be willing to put some time aside (about day or two, every few months, usually about month before release). We currently have about 0-2 releases per year, but in next few months, we plan to release our new update system, which would probably bring this number to 2-4 per year.... read more
We started using several applications, which could benefit the users:
- AN Guest Book (guest book, sign and let us know what you think)
- IdeaTorrent: Here you can add any ideas you have about GGC, if you want some new functionality added, post it here
- TaskFreak! - All task/todo's are written here... You can see how far we have progressed, what we need to do (if you are developer, some of this task could be done by you <grin>). I have added all tasks needed for next relase (under 1, task listed there will promote GGC from 0.x to 1.x), under 2 there are tasks still needed for next release (0.5) under 3 for next, after release is out of course this will be renumbered...
Release 0.4 is finally out. Web page will follow in next few days.
I am afraid to tell again that release is again postponed. I wanted to add Restore functionality to application before first release, so that we won't have any problems with release of updates until update server is working.
Release was planned for 4th of June 2008, but due to some problems we are forced to postpone it for a month. To repay you for waiting another month, we decided to add two features, which were planned for next release.
Finally we have come so far... First public release is on the way... As you can see in files sections, there are several new images there, which are mostly pre-releases to first public release (0.3)
We have a new developer: Stephan Schrader!
He has re-written the whole Data-Import stuff. We have a really cool Import-Dialog now.
New supported meters:
All his changes are now in CVS, so check them out.
We have a brand new homepage. Check it out.
Today, we released a first public alpha version.
It is a developer release but you are welcome to test it.
A brand new homepage with screenshots, information ans stuff like that, is on its way.
Check back to see it.
Today I put the current development sources into cvs. Check them out if you want, but don't expect too much for now. It's still a very early alpha.
Today we opened the project.
