[Gfs-users] Using Gerris in River analysis

Hi,

I need to perform several 3D and 2Dmodels to analyze fluvial habitat
problems for my phd.

In order to do that I am thinking to use Gerris and its shallow water and
parallel capabilities.

Some of you have experiences in use Gerris for deal in this kind of models?

Are the 2D shallow water eq. implemented?

Are available additional examples more related with the problems I dealing
with (open channels, p.e.)?



My interest is pointed too in the use of Gerris to analyze the desalation
plants outfall (single jet and multijet) dilution over sea shallow water.

Have anybody experiences in this area using Gerris?
