I had deliberately held off on changing the JTS jar for two reasons, one the 1.1 jar is (by default) missing the TopoloyException class and two because there have been API changes that we will need to change our code in order to match. 1.2 solves the first problem, but I think there may be issues with the second for some modules (Shapefile for one I suspect) As things stand the maven build is broken again as TopologyException is missing. It would be good if you could do a 'maven test' in the modules directory after making changes to its project.xml file to check you are not breaking the build. Yes, I think we should be using the 1.2 version of JTS for the alpha release of GT2 if only to ensure that any bug reports are not due to things that have already been fixed in JTS. I will work tomorrow on making sure all modules use and work with JTS 1.2 before cutting a release. All the best James |
