You probably also want to look at=20
geotools2/geotools-src/j2se-demos/src/org/geotools/demos/MapViewer.java

This is a simple Frame which displays a sample map.  It doesn't use a=20
shapefile yet, but you should be able to get a rough idea of what is need=
ed=20
by looking at the code.
