A bit more information on this: - I'm 99% sure that the coverage is being generated correctly and passed to the renderer, since I enabled the debug mode of the GridCoverageRenderer to dump the coverage image to a file. - I can't reproduce the problem in the context of a single query - it only happens when a tiled map makes multiple requests at once. I have control flow enabled to allow only a single request at a time, but this doesn't solve the problem.
