Okay; apparently the RC Notice has come as a surprise.

This was not my intension; indeed I am a bit annoyed that some plugins are still not passing intensive tests and are not ready for a release candidate. I have been up front with my intension to make a release candidate; but may be able to get by with a milestone release if the community feels they are not ready or have not been given enough notice.

The reason I have been making milestone releases from 2.7 is in order to ensure the library was ready for a RC this week; there is a schedule in JIRA that I have been trying to stick to:

So what will it be?
