[Geotools-gt2-users] Dealing with large datasets

Is there any where on the website a palce where are discussed strategies
for dealing with large datasets. For example right now I have a
shapefile with 10000 points to display. This takes a long time to
render. Any tips are highly appreciated, thanx!
