Hi, I'm beginner in Geotools. I would like to know if an scroll bar (or scroll pane) can be added to a JMapPane. How can I together use the ZommPane with a JMapPane? if this will be possible... Carcará. |

Hello Jakub, For GeoTools 2.5.x JMapPane is in the gt-mappane module which is one of the 'unsupported' modules that are not part of the standard distribution. If you are using maven as your build tool you can simply add the module as a dependency in your pom.xml: <dependency> <groupId>org.geotools</groupId> <artifactId>gt-mappane</artifactId> <version>2.5.5</version> </dependency> ...then maven will download and install the jar for you when you build your app. Otherwise you can downlad the jar manually from here: http://download.osgeo.org/webdav/geotools/org/geotools/gt-mappane/2.5.5/ BTW, in the development version of GeoTools (2.6.x) we have rewritten JMapPane and its friends. You can find the source code for the new classes plus a small demo program here: http://svn.osgeo.org/geotools/trunk/demo/mapwidget/ Hope this helps, Michael |
