It was a busy weekend of coding, and the result was a first working version
of the svgsupport module and a new demos module.
If you try the normal build process for the svgmodule the unit test should
generate a svg file in the tests/unit/testData folder, let me know if this
fails for anyone.
The module is still very rough at the edges and has a few too many things
hard coded into it. You can see the output in the story I posted to the
main web site.
I have created a new module called j2se-demos (it seemed a suitable name,
but I'm open to alternatives)
It contains a simple MapViewer application with a file menu for choosing a
GML and SLD file. We could do with some good sample files to package up
with any release, so if you have some nice GML floating about let me know.
The MapViewer is currently re-fetching all features from the datasource for
each redraw, I'm not quite sure why, but it has something to do with the
recent changes to the FeatureCollectionDefault class.
If you have time, try starting the MapViewer up and see if it works for
you. The class path is a bit of a pain at the moment, and for release I
plan to make it into a self executing jar with built in classpath.
All the best
